Jacqueline “Jackie” M. Kalinski, 85, of Erie, MI, died Friday, January 15, 2016, in her home. Born October 6, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Max and Hattie Zdawczyk. She married Henry Kalinski on April 25, 1953 in St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Toledo. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2003. Jackie enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, but most of all sharing her baked goods with her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Linda (Bob) Nyitray, Debbie (Jeff) Kish and Diane (Jim) O’Neill; sisters, Evelyn Augustyniak, MaryAnn Augustyniak, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Jackie was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Kish and brother, Lenny Zdawczyk.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
